Photo by WestCoastSpirit | Saint Augustine Another nice construction in historic downtown. Saint Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European and African-established city, and the oldest port in the continental United States Photo by WestCoastSpirit | Irving The Mustangs of Las Colinas. Irving, Texas. Such a nice and huge bronze sculture! Photo by WestCoastSpirit | Saint Louis Saint Louis Union Station, located downtown. It used to be a major rail road hub during the Gold Rush. Saint Louis was the last “big” city before the wild wide west. Now clearly a national landmark, as far as railroad art is concerned. Such a nice train station is simply amazing! Photo by WestCoastSpirit | Long Beach This historical neon sign located in LGB, Long Beach California, represents what was once one of the finest airplanes builders in the world. Douglas, then Mac Donnell Douglas was absorbed by Boeing. There is almost nothing left there from this great aera, unfortunately. The last plane produced there was the MD-90, aka Boeing 717. Anyhow, the sign is there to stay, hopefully!
