About US
USA-Pictures .com is the result of dozens different journeys in the
United States by the Editors, Anthony & Raphael PAILLARD. We caught
the virus since our very first visit in this fantastic country in
1998.
Our first trip lasted less than two weeks in Florida, from Orlando
to Miami. For European, the very first trip in the USA often ends up
in California or New York City. For us, it was Florida.
Since then, we can’t figure any single year without at least a week
in the US. We have gladly collected thousands of pictures,
countrywide, coast to coast. And when we decided to put the
collection online, we thought it could be even better to have a
community along us, to share and enjoy.
There is no “fly over” States on USA-Pictures.com. We want to have
every single state, national park and Point of Interest pictured
here. We will heavily rely on the community for that. We probably
have more than 5 000 pictures to share, but we believe in diversity.
We are proud to upload photos from Hawaii to Alaska, from Florida to
Nebraska and from Maine to California to name a few places. We’d
visited literally dozens of national park, in spring, winter, fall
and summer. We had various cross country road trip.
This website is not a blog, it is a community. We don’t want an
egocentric overview of our trips; we want a comprehensive coverage
of the country, by travelers, for travelers. You are an American
citizen and you want to share some pictures with the community? You
are more than welcome to do so. Don’t forget the various
forums: we
setup them to share move than pictures and photos.
